Roadmap

Ecological projects to support and follow.

Every project has a story of restoring nature.

Project focus areas

Real reference photos of the focus areas, from free image libraries. They are not Leafora projects.

The location is provided by Leafora's curators, and current images are illustrative. Field records will appear after evidence is captured and reviewed.

It goes beyond your first contribution.

Our next steps will help people see how projects develop and allow that work to support environmental labels and carbon credits.

How Leafora works

Restoring a spring or a degraded area takes funding and ongoing care.

How to support a project on Leafora.

  1. Get to know the project

The project page explains what will be restored and how the team plans to do it.

  2. Choose your contribution

Choose an amount and confirm in your digital wallet, the app that authorizes the transaction.

  3. Follow project progress

Return to the project page to read updates from the team.

Current stage · testing

What you can do at this stage.

  • Find a cause to support

You can browse the catalog and explore each initiative, from native forest restoration to regenerative agriculture.

Demonstration projects are labeled so you can tell what is being used for testing.

  • Try a contribution

Choose an amount in USDC and confirm in your digital wallet.

The contract records your contribution and allocation points in the same transaction.

  • Understand your contribution record

Each USDC corresponds to one allocation point (AP) in your chosen project.

Points are recorded publicly on the blockchain and displayed in your portfolio. They are not carbon credits and do not guarantee financial returns.

  • See what happens next

Each project page brings together the team's updates and evidence.

Planned app · Leafora Capture

How you will be able to follow work in the field

  1. CaptureThe team will take photos and videos in the app while working.
  2. ContextEach image will be linked to the project stage in which it was recorded.
  3. IntegrityA digital fingerprint will make it possible to check whether the file has changed.
  4. ReviewYou will be able to see whether the responsible team has reviewed the record.
  5. Public recordThe blockchain entry will provide a reference for reviewing the evidence history.

A photo helps show the work, but we also need to know where and when it was taken. Leafora Capture will let teams record images together with that information at the moment of capture. You will be able to view published records on the project page.

Each record will have a digital fingerprint on the blockchain, a shared record network, so later changes can be detected. Reviewers will also assess the content: preserving a file does not, by itself, establish that it reflects reality.

The full vision

From project support to an environmental marketplace.

See how we plan to expand project monitoring and work towards environmental labels and a carbon credit marketplace.

We are building a way to support nature's recovery and follow what happens in each project. The journey starts with small contributions and grows to include field records, environmental labels and a carbon credit marketplace. Explore what you will be able to do at each stage.

    01In testing

Choose a project and take part

You do not have to fund an entire project to help restore nature.

    Read the full stage

Leafora aims to bring small contributions together and connect you with the people doing that work.

Before taking part, you can learn what the project aims to restore and how it plans to use the funds. The Leafora team selects which initiatives can be published.

Choose an amount in USDC for a project open for funding and confirm in your wallet. The goal guides funding; contributions may exceed it until the deadline.

Each USDC contributed equals one allocation point (AP) in that project. Your portfolio shows recorded contributions and the progress of the initiatives you choose.

AP are recorded publicly by project and wallet. NFT issuance comes later; current points do not promise financial returns.

    02Planned app

    Leafora Capture

You will be able to follow the work through images that show where and when each activity was recorded.

    Read the full stage

With Leafora Capture, authorized team members will be able to document a project on their phones. Photos and videos will be linked to the activity being followed, helping you see how it changes over time.

The app will be released for Android first. Records will also be reviewed to assess whether they match the work carried out.

    03Planned

Understand how projects will be assessed

To decide where to contribute, you need to understand both the proposal and what has been done.

Project focus areas Regenerative agriculture · degraded pasture rehabilitation · native forest restoration · water · biodiversity

    Read the full stage

We want to make that assessment accessible and welcome more projects.

Farmers, cooperatives and organizations will be able to submit their initiatives. The Leafora team will assess each proposal before authorizing publication and fundraising.

Comparing field photos with satellite images will help track changes in an area. Artificial intelligence may flag differences for a person to review.

Independent specialists will assess what has been substantiated and what still needs clarification. You will be able to consult each project's reports and reviews.

    04Planned

Show which project your company supports

Leafora labels will let companies show their support for nature through a clear connection to operating, audited projects.

    Read the full stage

By checking the label, a customer will be able to learn about the supported project and what the company helped accomplish. Its environmental message will have a reference that anyone can consult.

A QR code will open the label's page, showing its supporting evidence, validity period and who verified it.

The page will also show whether the label has been renewed, suspended or revoked, keeping its history available.

The label will identify a substantiated contribution. By itself, it will not mean the company has offset its emissions or become carbon neutral.

    05Planned

From environmental results to carbon credits

Some projects may generate credits by demonstrating that they reduced or removed emissions.

    Read the full stage

We want to help them gather the data and undergo the necessary assessments.

A planting photo alone does not generate a carbon credit. A project must demonstrate its results and meet a certification program's requirements.

The assessment considers what would happen without the project and whether its benefits can last. Field records help document this work.

If credits are issued, you will be able to see which project they came from and how they were verified. Their identifiers will be checked against the issuing registry to help prevent duplicates.

We are studying references such as the GHG Protocol for emissions accounting and reporting, and certification programs such as Verra VCS and Gold Standard. The choice will depend on each project. Leafora does not currently claim certification or a partnership with these organizations.

    06Planned marketplace

    Leafora Market

People looking to buy carbon credits will be able to check their origin and compare offers in one place.

    Read the full stage

Those who issued them will be able to find buyers.

Leafora Market will bring together carbon credits and other environmental assets that meet its criteria. Before trading, you will be able to review the originating project, verification of its results and the asset's history.

We are also exploring trading participation rights in projects. Each offer will need to explain the buyer's rights and meet the applicable requirements.

This marketplace is still planned. Profit-sharing offers will depend on applicable rules, including Brazil's CVM requirements where relevant. Current NFTs and points do not grant these rights.

    Roadmap 06

Launch dates for the next stages have not been confirmed.

Questions about Leafora

What can I try today?

Explore published projects, choose an amount in USDC for an open initiative, and confirm in your wallet. Your points then appear in the dashboard, grouped by project.

Is the app available yet?

The app is not yet publicly available. The screens show our planned field-recording experience. Access will start with authorized project teams, initially on Android.

Are allocation points carbon credits?

No. AP record how much you contributed to each project. Carbon credits require results measured and verified under a certification program; supporting an initiative does not offset emissions.

When will the next stages launch?

We have not confirmed launch dates yet. We will share updates as testing and pilot projects show that each feature is ready to use.
